However, I have neglected some updates during the summer season so far. This’ll be a little sampler of some of the projects I’ve completed and that will eventually show up on the main site, but probably this fall when I’m intending to revamp a lot.

So here is a picture of a memorial project I did for a family who wanted a little bit more than just a regular headstone. I think it turned out very nice and really presents a welcoming area with a garden feel - which is what they requested.

The whole project consisted of a sign with room for additional names on the lattice, and a bench to sit and relax.

…and no, I don’t mean sit-ups! Though, now that I think about it, I should do those too.

No, what I’m referring to is those darn deadlines that always have a way of creeping up on me. Granted, most of them are self-imposed, but they are real none the less.

Those of you who are eagerly awaiting some new content in my gallery should be pleased by the end of today (I count that as 11:59 p.m… hey, I am still human!) as I shall be adding some new coaster sets along with a few new artwork designs in my Marquetry Gallery.

Well, there are obviously many things I’m not fluent with in the blog world…the first of which is how to get a few leader sentences of my last posts to show up. Right now, I just get a blank spot, and a “read the rest of this post” link. Not very interesting, I’d say.

Course, this entire thing isn’t very interesting at the moment. Don’t worry, it’ll get better (I hope!).

So, this is my first blog entry. Enjoy it! This will hopefully encourage me to post a few more updates on my work, shows and new projects coming down the line - but for now I'm just trying to learn the ropes.
